Law enforcement authorities are continuing their search for a suspect who robbed the Home Exchange Bank at Jamesport on Wednesday afternoon.

A white male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, entered the bank around 2 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. According to authorities, the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. FBI officials said the man is reported to have been seen traveling in a mid-1960’s Chevy or GMC single cab pickup, similar to an S-10 or S-15. The truck was cream in color with a faded blue/green stripe along the full sides of the truck, including the cab and bed.
The suspect is described as between 5-6 to 5-8 and being of average weight. The man was wearing a motocross-style helmet with visor and sunglasses. The helmet had a silver or white image on the topside, resembling two V’s. The man had on gloves and a long black jacket.
The FBI said the man was also holding something in his hand that could have been a weapon.
