The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced highway maintenance and construction projects that will be taking place in the area this week.

Among the projects are two slated in Grundy County. They include pavement repair on Highway 6 from two miles east of the Daviess County line, Aug. 1-2; and mowing on various routes, July 30 to Aug. 3.
In Mercer County, MoDOT Crews will be doing concrete repair on Highway 136 from Princeton to four miles west, July 30-31.
Persons driving in those areas are asked to watch for workers and observe any directions that might be given in order to promote safety in the work zones.
