Terry L. Rainer, a 63-year-old resident of Rogersville, died at 1:29 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was the sister of Sherry Betz of Trenton.

Celebration of life services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home in Rogersville.
Mrs. Rainer was born on Sept. 11, 1948 in St. Joseph. She was the owner/operator of Shade Tree Stables near Rogersville. She was very artistic and was a silversmith, making jewelery, and also enjoyed painting. She enjoyed all animals and rescued many animals, as well as humans, over the years.
She is survived by two daughters, Carrie Roddy of Cabool and Tonya Roddy of Rogersville; two brothers, Gaylen Rohwer and his wife, Elizabeth, of Newton, KS and Mike Rowden and his wife, Laura of Rogers, AR; a sister, Sherry Betz and her husband, Chris, of Trenton; her mother, Betty Nostrant of Trenton; a granddaughter, Kylie Ramirez of Rogersville; and several other relatives and friends.
