The Grundy County Commission has lifted the burn and fireworks ban issued last week in the county, but is still continuing an advisory.

Associate Commissioner Joe Brinser said residents are strongly discouraged from burning or discharging fireworks in areas of the county that did not receive rain over the weekend.
In addition, the commission reappointed Gene Wyant and Earl Robinson to the Enhanced Enterprise Zone Board.
