Cities And Grundy County Issue Bans
The cities of Trenton, Galt and Spickard have issued bans on open burning and the discharge of fireworks, including private displays. In addition, the Grundy County Commission has issued a ban on the discharge of fireworks and open burning in the county. The bans will remain in effect until further notice.
The community fireworks display, sponsored by the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce, is still scheduled to be held at dusk.
