City Administrator Kerry Sampson said the board plans to also do telephone interviews with the five and once background checks are completed, plans to meet again. It is hoped that in-person interviews can then be done and the board can send a list of two to three names to the council for consideration, although no timeline has been set for that process.
In the meantime, applications are still being accepted for the position, vacated in April by the resignation of Bob Lewis.
