Area Man Hurt In Accident

A Humphreys resident was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning on Route O, two miles east of Tindall.

Phillip D. Galvin, 21, was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton by the Grundy County Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. The Missouri Highway Patrol said Galvin was the driver of a car that was westbound on Route O when a vulture flew into the windshield of the vehicle. The vehicle received minor damage.
