Blue Jays Split With Pilot Grove

The Trenton Blue Jays junior American Legion baseball team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, drawing a split with Pilot Grove on the road. Trenton dropped the opening game 5-0, but bounced back earning their first win of the year in game two with a 5-3 victory.

With the split, Trenton moved to 1-7 on the season. The Blue Jays return to action on Wednesday, hosting Lawson at Burleigh Grimes Field in Trenton. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
