The 2012 Gooseberry Festival 5K/10K Walk-Run will be held Saturday, June 16 at Eastside Park.

The event, sponsored by the Grundy County Health Department, will begin with sign-in at 7 a.m. at the park shelter house. The walk will begin at 7:30, with medals to be awarded in all age brackets. There is no charge for registration and the first 125 registrants will receive a free t-shirt.
This year, participants can register on-line at www.grundycohealthdept.org. For more information, persons can call the health department at 359-4196.
