Barbara Jean Welch, a 79-year-old resident of Bellevue, NE, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Bellevue Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

Mrs. Welch was born Nov. 27, 1932 in Trenton, the daughter of Dale and Elva Taylor Devaul. She worked in the trucking company industry most of her life.
She is survived by four sons, Clint Johnson and his wife, Patti of Council Bluffs, IA, Frank Welch and his wife, Amy of Craig, Terry Welch and Larry Welch, both of Bellevue; a daughter, Vicki Welch of Council Bluffs; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Gray of Trenton; a brother, Dale Devaul, Jr., of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Margaret, Maria and Dorothy; and a brother, O.B.
