Trenton High School graduate Blake Schlarb recently signed a national letter of intent to continue his golfing career at the collegiate level. Schlarb is heading to Marshall, where he will join the Viking golf team at Missouri Valley College.

Schlarb had a standout high school career for Trenton, playing as the team’s number one golfer for three years. During his senior season this spring, Schlarb led the Bulldogs to state as a team, tying for first individually at the district tournament and placing in the top five at the sectional tournament.
“It’s been a goal of Blake’s to play golf at the collegiate level and I am just really happy he was able to achieve that this year,” Trenton High School golf Coach Travis Mullenix said. “Going to state and continuing down to Missouri Valley, hopefully, it will be a really nice place for him and he will fit in well down there.”
