Steve Rosenstangle, a 61- year-old Trenton resident, died on Sunday morning, May 20, 2012 in Sunrise Beach.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8 o’clock tonight (Tuesday, May 22, 2012) at the funeral home.
Mr. Rosenstangle was born on Jan. 1, 1951 in Trenton, the son of Bill and Bonnie Vance Rosenstangle. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1968. On Nov. 7, 1969 he was married to Rhonda McCloud in Trenton. In 1969 he began working with the Rock Island Railroad on the maintenance crew and was promoted to engineer in 1994. In 2002 he retired from the railroad with full disability.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Rhonda Rosenstangle of the home; his mother, Bonnie of Sunrise Beach; four daughters, Stephanie Hendricks and her husband. Carlos, Laura Rosenstangle, Carrie Rosenstangle and Lindsay Ortega and her husband. David all of Trenton; a sister, Pam Mills and her husband, John of Sunrise Beach; and 2 nieces, Nautia and Hally Mills; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
