Brittany M. Thomas, 19, 2210 Bolser St., waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to four counts of forgery, with sentencing set for July 12.
Brandon Z. Brewer, 30, Spickard, pleaded guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $37.50 and costs. He changed his plea to guilty on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and had sentencing set for June 14. Charges of stealing and failing to cover or sufficiently secure a load were dismissed.
Tyler Wilson, 19, Tindall, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and stealing, with sentencing set for July 13.
Brandon Hemsworth, 32, 2729 Lakeside Pl., pleaded not guilty to non-support and had his case set for June 14.
Jacob Ewing, 515 W. 13th St., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to non-support. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 14.
Travis J. Vasey, 21, Harris, pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and theft of a firearm and had sentencing set for July 12.
Frederick M. Pannell, Sr., 50, Kansas City, failed to appear in court and had his case continued to June 14 on a charge of non-support. His probation was suspended until further order of the court.
Michael L. White, 58, no current address available, failed to appear in court on a charge of driving while revoked and had his probation suspended until order of the court.
Connie Wise, 718 Highland, had her case continued to June 14 on a charge of passing bad checks, with her probation suspended until further order of the court.
Beverly L. Cogan, 46, 510 W. 10th St., had her case set for a one-day jury trial on a charge of animal abuse on Nov. 28.
Patrick L. McPherson, 1105 McPherson St., 33, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to serve three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on each of two charges of non-support. The sentences are to run concurrently and the court will retain jurisdiction for 120 days.

Judge Steven D. Hudson
Victor M. Anzalone, 44, Kansas City, pleaded guilty to having gross weight exceeding 80,000 pounds and was fined $178.75 and $58.50 costs.
Caitlin M. White, 19, Galt, pleaded guilty to failing to yield to a vehicle on the right that had entered the intersection at approximately the same time and was fined $77.50 and $58.50 costs.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Kayla Bower, Jamesport; and Kirby Stevens, Trenton.
Jeffrey Stevens, Princeton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $55.50.
Steven Taylor, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
Daniel Westerhof, Princeton, pleaded guilty to failing to display valid plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
