The Green Hills Animal Shelter is putting together a cookbook and area residents are being asked to share their recipes for inclusion in the book.

Any and all recipes are welcomed and a short note may be included as to why the recipe is special. There will even be a section for pet treat recipes.
Persons wanting to submit a recipe can mail their recipe to 3041 E. 10th St., Trenton, MO 64683 or drop them by the shelter building The deadline to submit a recipe is May 25. The cookbooks will be available for sale later this summer.
