The theme for the 2012 North Central Missouri Fair Parade has been selected and a work day scheduled for this year’s event following action taken at a meeting of the NCM Fair Board.

The parade theme will be “Squeals, Thrills and Ferris Wheels” for this year’s fair, which will be held July 31-Aug. 4. A work day was scheduled for Thursday, July 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Gates and the Rock Barn will be set up at that time. Booths are still needed for the courtyard.
The board also approved a $500 scholarship for the queen contest to be split among the top candidates.
