The search is on for a new head women’s softball coach at North Central Missouri College.
After a rough season that saw the Lady Pirates struggle to a 13-34 record, first-year Head Coach Kristen Boyes has resigned, meaning the school will be conducting a coaching search for the second year in a row.

North Central has had a successful softball program in the recent past, finishing in the top three of its region multiple times. The team went to the NJCAA Division I National Softball Tournament in 2004 and 34 players have been named Academic All-Americans in recent years. Several have continued their playing careers at four-year schools and moved into the coaching profession.
The position is open immediately and NCMC has named the search a “regional” one. The position also includes teaching responsibilities in the areas of physical education and health.
Interested persons should contact Donna Callihan, NCMC Human Resources Director, for application information. Callihan can be contacted at 359-3948 ext. 1502, or [email protected].
