Boy Scout Troop 99 held its Court of Honor ceremonies on Monday night at the Wesley United Methodist Church.

 A carry-in dessert meal was served prior to the event. Summer activities were discussed, including Camp Geiger and the annual canoe trip in the Current River.
Logan Medlin and Brylan Shaw were advanced to the rank of Tenderfoot. Isaac Chamberlain advanced to Star Scout and Isaiah Coon, Cole Little and Jacob Trickel advanced to Life Scout.
Merit badges were present to Thomas Black, Wilderness Survival; Isaiah Coon, Citizenship in the World; Jacob Hall, Electricity, Electronics and Wilderness Survival; Cole Little, Citizenship in the World; Logan Medlin, Citizenship in the Nation, Computers and Wilderness Survival; Kody Roderick, Wilderness Survival; Kyle Roderick, Wilderness Survival; Brylan Shaw, Art, Citizenship in the Nation and Wilderness Survival; Trey Shaw, Computers, Electronics and Wilderness Survival; Jacob Trickel, Citizenship in the World and Wilderness Survival; and Logan Trickel, Chemistry and Wilderness Survival.
New leadership positions appointments include Stuart Eller, Thomas Blake and Kyle Roderick, junior assistant scoutmasters; Dakota Porter and Trey Shaw, troop guides; Jacob Hall, senior patrol leader; Kody Roderick, assistant senior patrol leader; Isaac Chamberlain, Isaiah Coon and Cole Little, patrol leaders; Logan Trickel, quartermaster; Jacob Trickel, scribe; Blake Williams, librarian; and Calen Feagins, treasurer.
