A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Boon will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the St. Columban’s Catholic Church Cemetery at Chillicothe.

A Parish Rosary will be said at the church at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012, with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. General visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Mrs. Boon, a 47-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died at the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe on Monday, May 7, 2012.
Mrs. Boon was born on Sept. 18, 1964 in Atkinson, NE, the daughter of Mainard and Myrtle Cartmill Kramer. She was a 1982 graduate of Trenton High School and received her associate’s degree from North Central Missouri College in 1984. She also attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, receiving a bachelor’s of science in agriculture and horticulture in 1986.
She was married on Sept. 7, 1991 at the St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe to Michael Boon, who survives of the home. She worked as a bookkeeper at Citizens Bank and Trust for 20 years. She was a member of the St. Columban’s Catholic Church, the Knights Auxillary and Council 1084 of St. Columban’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Carrie Boon, Hannah Boon and Sarah Boon, all of the home; one brother, David Kramer and his wife, Bonnie of Minden, IA; four sisters, Brenda Hollingsworth and her husband, Tom of Blue Springs. Debbie Kramer of Trenton, Theresa Kramer of Lee’s Summit and Patty Chipps of Trenton; three nieces, Hilary Kramer, Avery Bowe and Jade Mock; five nephews, Jeremiah Chipps, Justin Hollingsworth and his wife, Angela, Nichols Kramer, Jacob Kramer and Wesley Kramer; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Donna Lewis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
