City Receives Tree City USA Designation
Qualifying cities must have an active, well-funded tree maintenance program and designated staffers to carry out the programs. The communities must meet four standards, including having a tree board or department, having a tree care ordinance, having a comprehensive community forestry program and having an Arbor Day observance.
