The Chillicothe Area Arts Council will have two programs this week which will entertain both children and adults.
Chillicothe Arts Programs Set
Jim Cosgrove, better known as “Mr. Stinky Feet,” will present a family concert at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center on the Chillicothe High School campus. The hour-long show is appropriate for children through fifth grade as well as adults.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children over the age of two years of age. Because the show is not part of the regular arts season, admission will be charged to all persons attending. The box office opens at 5:30 p.m.
The New Red Onion Jazz Babies will take to the stage on Sunday, April 29 at the Dickinson Performing Arts Center.
The 3 p.m. program features the seven-member band which performs traditional jazz music. The group has played in venues across the Midwest as well as in numerous jazz festivals.
The show is part of the arts regular season, so season ticketholders will be admitted free. Those who are not season ticketholders can purchase tickets the day of the performance, beginning at 2 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for students.
