Judge Steven D. Hudson
Theresa L. Webb, 25, 1150 Liv 243, pleaded guilty to failing to display valid plates on a motor vehicle or trailer and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs.
Warren J. Roberts, 26, Laredo, pleaded guilty to failing to display valid plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle owned by another knowing that financial responsibility had not been maintained and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs.
Elizabeth M. Williams, 25, Sedalia, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of having no valid operator’s license and was fined $250.50 and $116.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $151.50 and $58.50 costs.
Riley S. Maberry, 17, 302 Sunnyside Dr., pleaded guilty to failing to display valid plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $24.50 and $58.50 costs.
Bobby W. Munday, 72, waived formal arraignment and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of deviate sexual assault. A misdemeanor charge of sexual misconduct was certified to the Circuit Division. He is scheduled to appear in court April 12.
Brian Preszler, 31, Princeton, pleaded guilty to possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs.
Ryan A. Ferguson, 21, 3607 E. 28th St., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident by failing to negotiate a “T” intersection and striking an embankment. He was fined $100 and $58.50 costs.
Clinton W. Frazier, 41, 2002 Chicago St., pleaded guilty to failing to secure a child who is less than eight years old in a child restraint system or booster seat and was fined $16.50 and $58.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to two charges of not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10 on each charge.
Deziree D. Collins, 18, 901 E. 13th St., pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $58.50 costs.
Raymond S. Poortinga, 35, Spickard, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs. He is also to pay $98 recoupment of funds. He also pleaded guilty to failing to drive on the right half of the roadway when the road was of sufficient width and was fined $75.50 and $58.50 costs.
Charity N. Ward, 21, Trenton, appeared in court and did not have the $216.50 owed on a conviction for third degree assault and had that amount converted to 22 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for one day served. She also did not have the $266.50 owed on another conviction for third degree assault and had that amount converted to 27 days in the GCDC. The jail time is to run consecutively.
Civil Court
Acusport Corporation vs. Vance Cox d/b/a Triangle C. The case, which involved breach of contract, was dismissed with prejudice.
