Several county offices are to be filled, along with the county Republican and Democrat central committee members. In addition, voters will decide the GOP and Democratic candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer and attorney general as well as U.S. Senator, all eight U.S. Congressional representatives, all state house districts and one-half of the state senate districts. Filing for those offices takes place in Jefferson City, along with filing for Third Judicial Court Judge, which covers the counties of Grundy, Harrison, Mercer and Putnam.
County offices to be filled include first and second district associate commissioner, collector-treasurer, assessor, public administrator, sheriff and coroner. Persons wanting to file can do so in the office of the county clerk.
