Nova Lee Wruck, a 91-year-old resident of Corydon, IA, died on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Corydon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Corydon.

The body was cremated under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Lineville, IA. Graveside inurnment services will be held at a later date at the Girdner Cemetery, north of Mercer.
Mrs. Wruck was born in Metropolis, IL, on Sept. 25, 1920. She was raised in Metropolis, where she attended school. She was married to Harold Edward “Ed” Wruck, who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2008. The couple lived most of their married life in Des Moines, IA, where her husband worked at the Firestone Plant for 33 years, and she was a homemaker. After her husband’s retirement in the late 1970’s, they moved to their retirement home at Lake Marie, west of Mercer. They later moved to the Senior Citizens Housing in Lineville, IA. Due to failing health, they became residents of the Corydon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon, IA.
She is survived by a stepson, Dave Wruck and his wife, Melissa of Des Moines; two stepdaughters, Loretta Patrick of Topeka, KS and Patricia Journey and her husband, John of Bullhead City, AZ; 10 step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; a niece, Nova Lee Johnson of Illinois; and by other relatives.
