The Grundy County Commission has accepted two bids for mowing for the 2012 mowing season and accepted a bid for employee health insurance.

The board accepted bids from Adam Clark and A+ Lawn Care (Dustin Etter). Clark received the bid for mowing the Bethel Cemetery ($95), the Sires Cemetery ($38) and the Wynne Cemetery ($38), while A+ received the bid for mowing the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center ($30) and the Grundy County Courthouse and Annex ($60). All prices are for each mow and were the lowest bids received. The only other bid received was from Brewer-Ireland, which had the bid last year.
The board also accepted a bid for employee health insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The local agencies who will be handling claims are Assure Missouri and Associates and Larry Bunnell Insurance Group. The new health insurance goes into effect July 1.
