Wilma Rardon, a 90-year-old former Reger resident, died at 11:36 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Saint Luke’s Hospital East in Lee’s Summit.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Payne Funeral Home in Galt. Burial will follow in the Schrock Cemetery.
A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Open visitation will begin Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Rardon was born on Dec. 27, 1921 in Osgood, the daughter of William O. and Eva Gladys Lytham Middaugh. She was raised in Osgood.
She was married on Jan. 23, 1936 to Robert Raymond Rardon, who preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1983. From 1972 until 1989 they resided in Reger. Mrs. Rardon worked for Banquet Foods in Milan from 1972 until retiring in 1984.
Surviving relatives include her five children, Darrel Rardon and his wife, Pat of Pittsburg, Eva Burson and her husband, Jim of Holt, Marion Cox and her husband, Charles of Independence, Roberta Breeden and her husband, James of Independence, and Jan Guzma and her husband, Andy of Lee’s Summit; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,; two brothers, Herbert and William Middaugh; and a sister, Maxine Ford.
