The Grundy County Republican Caucus was held on Saturday morning in the Sugg Room of the Ketcham Community Center, with five delegates and five alternates being elected to attend the congressional caucus in April and the state convention in June.

Chosen as delegates to the April 21 congressional caucus at Chillicothe were Gary Black, Becky McDonald, Tad Trombley, Joe Brinser and Bill Walker. The alternates are Doris Pilcher, Dan Milburn, Kristi Urich, Mike Birkhead and E.J. Barnes.
Serving as delegates to the June 1-2 convention at Springfield will be Bill Walker, Becky McDonald, Tad Trombley, Gary Black and L.D. Gibson. The alternates are Elaine Walker, Dennis McDonald, Meredith Black, Sara Gibson and E.J. Barnes.
The caucus process will ultimately lead to the selection at the congressional level of three delegates and three alternates to the National Convention as well as 25 delegates and 25 alternates to the National Convention on the state level and two at-large presidential electors.
