Lolila Rose Cramer, a 79-year-old resident of Ludlow, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be at Utica Cemetery at Utica.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cramer was born on July 30, 1932 at the family home in southern Grundy County, the daughter of J.W. and Lida Ellis Altenderfer. She was the youngest of six siblings.
She attended Liberty Chapel Church and Liberty School. She also attended junior high school in Trenton and was a 1949 graduate of Chillicothe, High School. She moved to Chillicothe in the early 1950’s, where she worked at Safeway Grocery and the Lee Meek Store.
She married David Earl Cramer on June 3, 1956 at the home of the Rev. E. Wayne Rosecrans in Trenton. The couple lived in Chillicothe and later moved four miles south of Utica.
She was a charter member of the Community Baptist Church in Utica. She enjoyed her garden, her sheep, eating out and watching TV.
She is survived by her husband, David Earl Cramer; a daughter, Linda Vanlandingham; a son-in-law, Chip Vanlandingham; a grandson, Grant Vanlandingham; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William Galowe Altenderfer, Raould Altenderfer and Dourne Altenderfer; an infant brother Benjamin Rudel Altenderfer; a sister, Paulawona Jones; and a grandson, David Vanlandingham.
