Barbara E. Hamilton, a 53-year-old resident of Milan and former Trenton resident, died on Thursday morning, March 8, 2012 at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.

Miss Hamilton was born on June 16, 1958 in Trenton, the daughter of James Edward and Margaret Catherine Marsh Hamilton. She attended Galt schools and graduated from Trenton High School in 1977. She worked as a cosmetologist in Maryville and Kansas City. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Trenton.
She is survived by her parents, James and Margaret Hamilton of Trenton; two sisters, Jennifer Ann Hamilton of Trenton and Nancy Jones of Kansas City; and one niece, Samantha Jones of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Frances Hamilton.
