Screenings for next year’s kindergarten class at Rissler Elementary School will be held March 19 and 20 at the school’s early childhood center.

Children who will be five years old before Aug. 1 are eligible to attend the kindergarten class next fall. Areas that will be screened will be communication, pre-academic readiness skills, fine/gross motor skills, speech/language skills, and vision and hearing.
Parents who have their child screened should bring the child’s immunization record, Social Security card, a legal birth certificate and proof of residency. To schedule a screening, parents should call 359-2003.
