Keith Claud Adair, an 88-year-old resident of Osceola, IA, died on Monday Feb. 13, 2012 at the Southern Hills Specialty Care Center in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Lineville, IA, with Pastor Max Carmichael officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville.
Open visitation and viewing will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, where a visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
Mr. Adair was born on Dec. 23, 1923 in Woodland, IA, the son of Claud and Hulda Wasson Adair. He attended schools in Bethany and Leon, IA. He lived most of his life in the Garden Grove, IA, area, where he was a farmer and truck driver. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in Japan.
He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, hunting, camping, and being with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Adair was married on July 27, 1947 to Ethel Louise Campbell, who survives of the home in Osceola.
He is also survived by two sons, Mike Adair and his wife, Nancy of Ames, IA, and Scott Adair and his wife, Judy of Granger, IA; two daughters, Debbie Braby and her husband, Steve and Jeannie Fox and her husband, John, all of Humeston, IA; two brothers, Doyle Adair of Las Vegas, NV and Miles Adair of Mt. Ayr, IA; three sisters, Marilyn Porter of Polk City, IA, Marjorie Davis of Des Moines, IA, and Glenna McClain of Sheridan, OR; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Jean Batterton.
