The five-member band, 3 Trails, will take the stage at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center in Chillicothe at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19.

This award-winning band is part of the Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s 2011-12 arts season. 3 Trails West received the Western Music Association’s WMA 2011 Crescendo Award, which is given to the most promising performer or group of the past year, and their debut CD was nominated in 2011 for the WMA’s Traditional Western Album award in the group or duo category.
The show will feature music of the cowboy tradition – songs about cattle drives and riding horses, pretty girls back home and the natural splendor of the West – along with songs from the silver screen Westerns with some country swing thrown in.
Tickets are $7 for students and $15 for adults and may be purchased at the door. Season ticketholders will be admitted free with a season ticket. The box office opens at 2 p.m., and the auditorium seating begins at 2:30 p.m.
