Mercer, Tri-County, Princeton and Newtown-Harris were all in action on Friday night, facing off in basketball doubleheaders.

Mercer
Mercer picked up an HDC Conference sweep of North Harrison at home on Friday night. The Lady Cardinals scored a 65-26 win and the Cardinals won 56-46.
In the girls game, Mercer ran out to a 37-9 halftime lead and coasted through the second half on its way to its 19th win in a row. Leading the way for Mercer was Sierra Michaelis, who had 28 points and 15 rebounds. Courtney Owens added 19 points for the 19-0 Lady Cardinals.
In the boys game, Colton Hartley had 30 points and Trey Michaelis added 11 as Mercer (14-4) notched a big conference win over a tough Shamrock squad.
Mercer returns to action tonight, traveling to Milan.
Tri-County
Tri-County scored a non-conference sweep at home in Jamesport, defeating Stet. The Lady Mustangs won 48-43 to move to 6-14, and the Mustangs won 72-41, moving to 12-8 in the process.
Leading the Lady Mustangs were Madi Huston, who had 16 points and five rebounds, and Brianna Hixson, who had 14 points and two steals. For the Mustangs, Myles Dustman led the way with 32 points and 14 boards. Reuben Gingerich added 15 points and nine rebounds.
Tri-County hits the floor again on Tuesday night, traveling to Mercer for action.
Princeton
Princeton drew a split with Worth County on the road in Grant City, winning the girls game 53-22 and losing the boys contest 58-38.
Leading the Princeton boys (5-12) was Caleb Wyatt, who had 13 points. Jake Letner added 11 points and eight rebounds. No scores were available for the Lady Tigers (11-5) as of press time.
Princeton’s next action will be Tuesday night at Albany.
Newtown-Harris
Newtown fell to Putnam County in a boys-only match-up, dropping the Tigers to 11-9 on the season.
Newtown travels to Eagleville on Tuesday night to face North Harrison.
