Christopher J. Molloy, 31, Galt, waived his preliminary hearing and had his cases certified or bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, driving while intoxicated (two counts), possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and a civil case involving the Criminal Activity Forfeiture Act. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 16.
Daniel M. Betz, 31, 158 E. Fourth St., pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10. He also pleaded guilty to failing to display valid plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $26.50 and $58.50 costs.
Casey A. Russell, 23, 513 E. Ninth Ct., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance and forgery. The defendant is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 16.
Michael D. Sims, 45, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10. He also pleaded guilty to driving while revoked and was fined $150 and $116.50 costs.
Deborah L. North, 55, New Hampton, had her case certified to the Circuit Division for a jury trial on a charge of being the owner/possessor of a dog that bit a person resulting in serious injury. The case was moved to Grundy County on a change of venue.
Kimberly K. Jacobs, 44, 1600 Pleasant Pl., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to domestic assault, property damage and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. She was sentenced to serve 14 days in jail on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently with one another. She is also to pay $116.50 costs.
Samantha J. Maxwell, 19, Milan, had a charge of not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle dismissed.
Ashley T. Teeter, 20, 1702 Tindall Ave., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance and was fined $150 and $116.50 costs.
