The event is focused on raising awareness of northwest Missouri to state legislators and departments. Activities will include an introduction on both the House and Senate floors, a regional luncheon, department roundtables and an educational breakfast. The Mardi Gras-themed main event the night of Jan. 31 provides an opportunity for community representatives to promote their corner of the region with legislators and others who are invited to attend.
