According to Assistant City Clerk Danette Summers, the council discussed a concern from a dog owner in regard to the attack of his animal by another dog that was running loose. A letter is to be sent by the city to the owner concerning the issue.
The council also approved a request by the Public Water District to replace its pump station at the south end of the city.
The next meeting of the council will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6.
