Bill and Grace Dean of Chillicothe will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. The couple were married in a double ceremony on Jan. 11, 1942 in Yuma, AZ and all four are still living. The Deans grew up on Grundy County farms and Bill served in the Army Infantry in the South Pacific. He worked in the aerospace industry and is retired from management positions with both General Dynamics and Vantage Corporation. Grace is widely known in bowling and craft circles and is the proud owner of a trophy for a hole-in-one on a San Diego, CA golf course. They are the parents of two children, William of Bozeman, MT and Carol of Chillicothe. They also have two grandsons and four great-grandsons, all of San Diego.
