Martha L. McCulley, a 70-year-old resident of Trenton died on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 24, 2011 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home at Trenton.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Pastor Ron McCrerey will officiate.
Mrs. McCulley, was born on June 19, 1941 in North Wilkesboro, NC, the daughter of Amos Coy and Katherine Eleanor Anderson Parker. She graduated in 1959 from Wilkes Central High School, Wilkesboro. She had been a resident of Trenton since 1976.
She was a member of Grace Communion Inter-National Church in Stewartsville.
She was married on June 11, 1976 at Trenton to Mervyn R. McCulley, who preceded her death on June 5, 1989.
She is survived by two sisters, Toni Bailey of Winter Haven, FL and Winnie Arrington of Winston-Salem, NC: one brother, John Parker of North Wilkesboro: and a brother-in-law, Lloyd McCulley of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
