Glenda “Kay” Morrison, age 71 of Winter Haven, FL was called home by God on Sunday morning, Dec. 11, 2011.

Kay was born on Feb. 25, 1940 in Dighton KS, the daughter of the late Glen and Harriet Hobbs. After high school, she began her career as a beautician, where she made many life-long friends. Glenda was a loving mother and a devoted wife. She enjoyed watching horse races and writing poetry. She and her late husband, Rick, enjoyed working together in property management for many years and retired in 2000.
Kay is survived by five children and their spouses: Savannah Grace, Deborah and Mike Carter, Thomas Kippenberger, Tawnya and Randy Royce and Tamera Morrison, as well as 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one child, Vickie, and her husband of 36 years, Ruben (Rick) C. Morrison.
The family will receive guests for a Celebration of Life service at the home of Kay’s daughter, Tawnya Royce.
