Ronnie McCully, a 39-year old resident of Spickard, died on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 near Kansas City, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton, Burial will be in the Galt West Cemetery at Galt.
A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. McCully was born March 14, 1972 in Trenton, the son of Donald Ray and Lila Prewitt McCully. He was raised in Galt and graduated from Galt High School in 1990. He lived in the Galt or Spickard area all of his life. He worked as an over the road truck driver for 21 years.
While at home he enjoyed going to the Winston races and being with family.
Mr. McCully is survived by a son, Coleman Browning of Cameron; a daughter, Kylah McCully of Trenton; his mother, Lila, now Mrs. Butch Neill of Trenton; a sister, Rhonda, now Mrs. E.W. Browning III; two brothers, a twin, Donnie McCully and his wife, Jennifer of Trenton and Bobby McCully and his wife, Ali of Milan; and his maternal grandmother, Blanche Prewitt of Galt.
Those preceding him in death include his father and grandparents, Robert Prewitt and Theodore and Jessie McCully.
