The Tri-County basketball teams went opposite directions in the opening round of the Gallatin Tournament on Monday night. The boys scored a 63-31 win over Maysville, but the Lady Mustangs were manhandled by top-seeded Hamilton, 98-13.

Myles Dustman led the boys with 26 points and Gary Eads added 12 points. The girls were led by Megan Ellis, who scored four points.
