Mrs. Smith also serves as the chairman of the board’s Student Affairs Committee.
MSU’s main campus is at Springfield and has a combined enrollment of nearly 25,000 students on its campuses at Springfield, West Plains, Mountain Grove and Dalian, China.
Mrs. Smith, her husband, Troy, and three children, Angie, Amy, and Matt, are also alums of the university.
