Gary Kent Wilson, a 47-year-old resident of Lincoln, NE, died on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 in Lincoln from a brain aneurysm.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel in Albany. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery at Albany.
Family visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the chapel.
Mr. Wilson was born in Albany on Oct. 1, 1964, the son of Gary and Donna Stevens Wilson. He graduated from Albany High School in 1983 and graduated from William Jewell College in 1987. While attending William Jewell, he was a four-year member of the football team as a defensive end and a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his three sons, Austin, Price and Tyler of Omaha, NE; his parents, Gary and Donna Wilson of Trenton; his grandmother, Muriel Yetter of Trenton; a sister, Kandi Chaney and her husband, Cliff, two nephews, Jake and Connor and a niece, Makenna, all of Lincoln; a special friend, Nikki Bauman of Lincoln; and one aunt, Sharon Toombs of Bethany.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Mae Wilson, Max Stevens, G.L. Yetter; and an uncle, Gary Toombs.
Kent will be remembered as a loving and compassionate father, son, brother and grandson. The joy of his life was spending time with family and friends. Football, country music, snow skiing and fishing were only a few of the hobbies he enjoyed and will be sadly missed by all who remember the outings and sharing these interests with him.
