“Our nurses do leave the office to offer services in the community so we advise people to call before stopping in,” said Elizabeth Gibson from the Grundy County Health Department.
The Health Department telephone number is 660.359.4196. Individuals are asked to bring their Medicare or Medicaid card for billing purposes. Donations will be accepted from individuals that are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
Flu vaccine supplies are plentiful. This year the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommends a flu shot for everyone over the age of 6 months.
