June King, a 79-year-old resident of rural Princeton, died on Wednesday morning, Oct. 19, 2011 at her home, west of Princeton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at Slater Funeral Home in Trenton with Pastor Allen Stancil officiating. Burial will be in the Groff Cemetery, northwest of Spickard.
Family visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. King was born on Feb. 15, 1932 in Melbourne, the daughter of Joe E. and Goldie Lucille Stutesman Terry. She attended Melbourne elementary schools and graduated from Gilman City High School. She also graduated from Chillicothe Business School.
She was a member of the Faith Christian Center of Princeton.
She was married on Jan. 25, 1957 in Midland, TX, to Edward Win King, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by two daughters, Teresa Lewis and Twila Cook of Blythedale; three sons, Timothy King of Cainsville, David Carpenter of Bethany and Steven Carpenter of Cedar Rapids, IA; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Ruth Carpenter, Sissy Smith, Norma Lawson and Linda Terry; and two brothers, Galan “Bubby” Terry, and Donald “Bud” Terry.
Memorials are suggested to either the Faith Christian Center or the family. They may be left at the funeral home.
