Former Resident Is Recognized

Beth Craig Caldarello was recently honored with DeVry University’s Ron Taylor Award, which is one of the highest awards given at the university.

The award is given annually in recognition of exceeding performance expectations. According to the university, “these colleagues work hard every day, consistently performing above and beyond their normal job functions to deliver outstanding results. They are great role models because they manage their responsibilities while exhibiting the university values and staying focused on the mission statement…”
Ms. Caldarello is director of library services and the academic support center for DeVry and is also an adjunct professor, working with new students in critical thinking and college strategies. She is presently in the process of completing her PhD from St. Louis University.
Ms. Caldarello is the daughter of Phyllis Anderson of Trenton.

Trenton Police Department
Oct. 16: officers went to three domestic disputes at residences in the west part of town. A theft was investigated at an east businesses.
Oct. 17: officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a south residence and an arrest was made for domestic assault at a west residence. Officers were called to the west part of town where an abandoned vehicle was found.
