Judge Steven D. Hudson
Having charges of possession of intoxicating liquor by a minor amended to peace disturbance and fined $400 and $116.50 costs were Jacob Gingerich, 18, Jamesport; Levi Detweiler, 18, Jamesport; and Jason R. Miller, 17, Jamesport.
Travis E. Tillman, 18, Brookfield, and Brian L. Nail, 36, Gallatin, pleaded guilty to amended charges of speeding and were fined $200 and $58.50 costs.
Antoine D. Wilkinson, 23, St. Joseph, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of having no valid operator’s license (the original charge was driving while suspended) and was fined $250.50 and $116.50 costs.
Robert R. Burtch, 27, Kansas City, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of failing to register a motor vehicle annually with the Director of Revenue and was fined $55.50 and $58.50 costs. The original charge was operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license.
Sandi J. Hoover, 49, Princeton, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated (drug intoxication) and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $116.50 costs, $461 recoupment of funds and $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforce-ment Fund. Charges of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and not wearing a seat belt were dismissed.
Samuel S. Storer, 29, 503 W. 12th St., had his preliminary hearing held on charges of second degree assault. His case was bound over to the Circuit Division and another charge, assault of a law enforcement officer, was certified to the Circuit Division, with trial-setting scheduled for Oct. 20.
Robin J. Bryson, 36, 503 W. 12th St., waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of distribution of a controlled substance near a school. Trial-setting was scheduled for Oct. 20.
Lee A. Rogers, 54, 1318 Oklahoma Ave., had a preliminary hearing held on a charge of stealing, with the court dismissing the case due to lack of proper venue and lack of jurisdiction.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Kendra Holcer, Meadville, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $155.50.
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Kristina Hubbard, Gallatin; and Sheila Malone, Independence.
Marshall Knapp, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and not wearing a seat belt and was fined $55.50 and $10.
Bryce McDonald, Humphreys, pleaded guilty to failing to secure a child in a child restraint system or booster seat and was fined $20.50.
Lawson Ralls, Trenton, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
George Stokes, Mountain Home, AR, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $30.50.
Randy Swank, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $80.50.
