Gladys Marie Yoder, a 90-year-old resident of Excelsior Springs, died on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1: p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
Mrs. Yoder was born on Aug. 15, 1921, in Trenton, the daughter of William McKinnley and Lillie Wanita Speery Mapes. Mrs. Yoder was a homemaker and also helped take care of the elderly in their homes. She was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Frazer and her husband, Buster of Excelsior Springs and Cheryl O’Conner and her husband, Gerald Dumont of Santa Fe, NM; one son, Gerald Yoder of Moberly; one brother, William C. Mapes and his wife, Colleen of Tucson, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
