Judge Steven D. Hudson
Christopher G. Hilt, 27, 1109 Merrill St., and Devin A. Robinson, 23, Holt, waived their preliminary hearings and had their cases bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle. Trial-settings were scheduled for Oct. 20.
Ricky E. Bottorf II, 27, Kidder, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of speeding and was fined $200 and $58.50 costs.
John C. Carr, 22, 309 S. Main St., pleaded guilty to two counts of third degree assault and was sentenced to serve 14 days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run consecutively for a total of 28 days. He was given credit for time served and is to pay $116.50 costs.
Michael G. Schultz, 26, Mission, KS, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $58.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle annually with the Director of Revenue and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs.
Joshua E. Frazier, 29, 668 N.E. 18th Ave., pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Daniel Chapman, 27, Princeton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia (the original charge was possession of a controlled substance) and was fined $300. He also pleaded guilty to possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and was fined $300. He is also to pay $116.50 costs.
Andrew Fairhurst, 25, Jamesport, pleaded guilty to fishing without a permit and was fined $18.50 and $81.50 costs.
Danny E. Campbell, Jr., 19, pleaded guilty to purchasing or attempting to purchase or possess liquor by a minor and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs.
Christopher Molloy, 30, Galt, pleaded guilty to possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs.
Justin W. Bryan, 20, 140 E. Fifth St., pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit or debit device and was fined $200 and $116.50 costs.
Associate Civil
Capital One Bank (USA) vs. Ronnie C. Callahan. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $1,244.48. The case involved breach of contract.
Midland Funding LLC vs. Phyllis Ratkovich. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $2,631.32. The case involved a suit on account.
Bob Fay’s Rent to Own, Inc. vs. Barbara Reaves. The case, which involved breach of contract, was dismissed.
Archview Financial LLC vs. Nick Hanes. The court entered a judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $2,763.07. The case involved breach of contract.
Midland Funding LLC vs. Mitchell Knapp. The court entered a consent judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $1,006.33. The case involved a suit on account.

Judge Steven D. Hudson
Gage C. Davis, 16, Pattonsburg, pleaded guilty to failing to display valid vehicle license plates and was fined $50.50 and $34.50 costs.
