Crowder State Park is among 11 parks in Missouri offering a free breakfast to campers who spend the night on Friday.

The meal will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. on Saturday in the amphitheater of the campground area. The meal will include Dutch oven cheese potatoes with bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice.
Other events at the park include Fall Outdoor Discovery Day from noon until 4 p.m. in the beach area of the park. Several demonstrations and activities will be held for the entire family, including a concert at noon and 2 p.m. by Wildheart. The Rapture in Misery six hour/12 hour bike race scheduled for Saturday at the park has been cancelled.
