Judge Jack Peace
Thomas J. Lund, 26, Mercer, was found not guilty by a jury of second degree domestic assault and third degree domestic assault. He had earlier pleaded guilty to driving without a valid license and had sentencing set for Sept. 15. The case had been moved to Grundy County on a change of venue from Mercer County.

Judge Steven D. Hudson
James B. Fairchild, 17, 1403 E. 13th St., pleaded guilty to careless and imprudent driving by running into the rear of a vehicle which had slowed for farm machinery and was fined $75.50 and $58.50 costs.
Santo Reyes Montoya Martinez, 41, Denison, IA, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $58.50 cost.
Small Claims
Hy-Vee Food Store vs. June Branstetter. The case, which involved unpaid pharmacy charges, was dismissed.
Municipal Division
Judge Steve D. Hudson
Brian K. Coombs, 18, Jamesport, pleaded not guilty to being a minor in possession of intoxicating liquor by consumption while driving a vehicle. His case was set for hearing on Oct. 4.
Samuel N. Green, 20, 422 W. 15th St., pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $50.50 and $34.50 costs.
William Kyle Swartz, 2303 Chicago St., pleaded guilty to stealing and was fined $100 and $34.50 costs.
Jeremy J. Tobias, 27, 1110 Custer St., pleaded guilty to failing to maintain financial responsibility for a vehicle and was fined $25.50 and $34.50 costs.
Hilary G. Marshall, 31, Bethany, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $300 to the city of Trenton, $34.50 costs and $160 to the Trenton Police Department.
Alicia A. Terabelian, 18, Princeton, pleaded guilty to driving the wrong way on a one-way street and was fined $25.50 and $34.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to being a minor in possession of intoxicating liquor and was fined $300 and $34.50 costs.
Charity N. Ward, 21, 400 W. Seventh St., pleaded guilty to failing to display valid vehicle license plates and was fined $50.50 and $34.50 costs.
Philip B. Burgess, 31, 1513 Pleasant Pl., pleaded guilty to careless and imprudent driving by running off the roadway and striking a fixed object and was fined $25.50 and $34.50 costs.
Donald Douglas Shipley, 56, 806 W. 18th St., pleaded guilty to assaulting a law enforcement officer and was sentenced to serve four days in the Grundy County Detention Center. Costs were waived.
